Can't speak for the 550, but I'm on my second 700. Very well built units and get very high ratings in the quad shootouts. The 700 seems more like a sport quad to me than a utility because it is so snappy. I gave $6050 for mine one year ago on ebay. A dealer in Illinois was overstocked and ready to move a few.
