Almost ran into a similar deal a couple of days ago I go to town and pass this private company work crew with 2 F150’s and a 2 1/2 ton truck with impact barriers hanging off the back. The first F150 has some sort of scanner hanging off the right front and is scanning the road bed. 2nd F150 is a pilot truck. Go back to town 45 minutes later and almost crest the hill going down into town and see brake lights. These clowns are about 4 car lengths over the crest of the hill bumper to bumper. It’s a miracle the truck and car in front of me didn’t plow into them at 55-60 mph! I was on the shoulder trying to not hit the sedan in front of me and praying the dude behind me was gonna get wowed up! Unbelievable! I almost called the law but figured they would be down the hill by the time the law showed up.
