Chilliwack, British Columbia | Not necessarily. I can buy sexed beef semen, sexed male. I don't use it as I still have continuing repro issues on my farm that results in much lower conception rate using it, but the higher price paid for bull calves makes the few extra dollars of sexed semen worth it. But going forward, I bet there will be less females getting finished because of it.
