Cal Stoll. Played Mich and OSU every year unlike now and didn’t get Rutgers Maryland Nebraska like teams to play each year. Also they played USC Washington like teams in the non conference most years
Lou Holtz clearly way better coach but only 2 years.
You could make a case for Mason. With the god awful facilities he had to recruit too. Unlike the phenomenal ones they have now. But he too had some absolutely horrible loses.
Show me a better 9 year stretch since 1965 in gopher football than what PJ has produced.
