I get the logic but I doubt that anyone voluntarily increases his bid for calves up if his feed cost go down. Except maybe Garvo. ;-)
Bids for calves will only go up if demand exceeds supply. Order buyers won't pay more than they have to. That's why calf prices are where they are now.
