I think you really need a lawyer to watch for your interest. Insurance interest is only to extent of getting done. Wife had new car hit up to back seat. We couldn't get it replaced . Because as lawyer said no leverage like an Injury concern. His instruction was to always get a check up following an accident. Even if just a sore shoulder. Insurance then in hurry to give a better settlement. Yours may go beyond making vehicles operable. A lawyer is not being greedy this time. They already have someone circling the wagons.
