My only quibble with your comments is that the over supply of corn and beans that the govt subsidies insures we have results in a low cost and abundant feed for finishing the beef.

Livestock is sharing in the govt grain subsidies, not apart from them.

But a small thing, I understand and agree with the bulk of your message.
