Near Mankato, Mn | Boy Yoosta B, you sure hit the nail on the head there. Everyone always says they don’t build em’ like they used to. Thank god! My 1914 ballon framed house was cobbled from the start. Board too short? Just stack another one on top and splice it on to lengthen it. Most old farm houses are still standing because of added bracing in the basements.
