Subject: Restoring fsrmhouses

East Arkansas
I’ve read on here in the past about restoring older fsrmhouses..I have one that has a bad roof and with the bad roof some bad floors. It would most likely need to be gutted.

It’s only saving grace is the timber used in its construction. It’s priceless because of its age and the quality of a lot of its construction. I would really like to save it but at what point do you say it’s not possible.

I know I could build cheaper than restoring but the history and architecture of the house mean a lot to me…
