We have less than 5 day supply of frozen beef, which can be construed as excess supply since fresh beef has a limited shelf life.
If we add two days supply of Argentinian beef, we are increasing excess supply by 40%. How many limit down days in corn would we have if we raised ending stocks by 40%. Seems like traders are justified in their sell off.
