make the feedlot guys take the same risk ranchers have to to retain heifers instead of feeding them their second year of life.

eliminate the wireless fencing collar subsidy too.  what a waste of taxpayer $

edit to add: to further get government out of cows, stop releasing crp every time haymaking becomes profitable, stop paying for livestock fencing and water subsidies, and stop paying for cover crop seeding that might be grazed or fed!
