NE MO | We’re custom applicators with a main focus with spreading lime. This year we started doing anhydrous. My strategy was finding the needed niche then going after it with everything I had. We spread for all the local retailers along with our customers. Have the mentality of having to be the best and when we was asked how much work we wanted, the answer was simple. All of it. No one can touch our production levels with spreading. Best way for me is to literally take on more than I can handle then figure it out as I go. That mentality got the attention of enough that a retailer asked us to get into nh3 as well because of our reputation of working longer and being more efficient than others. Networking is key and you’ve got to find a much desired niche. Then jump off the deep end and make it work. | |
