Subject: Re: Large frame 7X30 with TLS

Centralia, MO
These are acronyms for John Deere's front axle suspensions. The TLS stands for Triple link suspension and is available on the 6000 and 7000 tractors and ILS stands for Independent Link Suspension which is available on the 8000 series tractors. The TLS is a solid axle suspended on two air over hydraulic struts with a panhard bar. The ILS is a true independent suspension with each wheel suspended on a-frames and flexible driveshaft from the center chunk to the outer final drive.
