Spray some residual in the fall. Why waste the pass with no residual for the spring.
We spray something that will kill the winter annuals with root uptake like atrazine, Basis Blend or Cloak.
Usually don't add any burndown chemicals. Clean fields in the spring with marestail being an occasional escape.
