Recap:

This is marginal ground, it can burn up or drown out pretty easily. APH around 150.

Pioneer 1413 planted April 19th. Dropped around 22K. 120 lbs of N as pre-plant anhydrous.

Verdict PRE, Bicep-equivalent and Hero banded with the planter, home-made Lumax post.

Post herbicide pass is the only wheels in the field after planting.

I had intended to spin on 100 lbs AMS, but this was the last field on the list and I didn't get to it before it got too tall. The corn never really showed visual nitrogen deficiency symptoms, and I don't know why. Stood pretty good, which impressed me as well, considering that we didn't get to it until now.

Generic Quilt flown on August 18th, as discussed in those threads.

Went 190 bpa across the scales. Moisture 12-13%. TW 60 lbs.

When the stars line up and the rains are perfect, white ground can really kick out the bushels. Almost makes up for the other nine out of ten years you have to fight it.
