Don’t over think it just spray. It’s incredibly easy to kill weeds now. They may not die for two months but it will die. I plan on running valor and 24d. There will be a few grasses escape but I don’t care ground will be 99% clean. Henbit is what makes the ground hard to dry out around here. I am south of you but I spray in December routinely works great.
