west-byGod-Pa. | Imbalance in tire wear is more of an issue for all wheel drive SUV’s, “ if” they are the type that are actually full-time and & not part-time awd. I have been told that some awd systems are two-wheel drive unless a wheel sensor detects slip. At which point, awd kicks in. I think that the Subaru system, having an extra differential, is able to balance out stress caused by non-uniform tire wear | |
