I bought 4 new tires for my 2500 dodge about 5 years ago. They've been rotated 2 times. A couple are more worn than the others. I don't notice it at all. I think it's more about having different sizes and diameters and different brands that would cause an issue. Same brand same size I don't see a problem. Some people might.
