| Very true about being in the right place at the right time.
One Friday afternoon I stopped by a dealer to look at a new RAM when the "blackout" trim package was introduced. I was planning to buy one for my 50th birthday a year later, it would be the first time that I ever bought a NEW vehicle.
I didn't even want them to give me a quote, but they were persistent and looked over my current truck and made me an offer. I remember thinking "I'm not even offended" when they presented the trade price. First time that ever happened when trading a vehicle.
I was the only customer there that afternoon, and they came down $3,000 more from the first trade price. It was a deal that I just could not walk away from and I decided that maybe I could instead have it paid off by my 50th birthday!! lol | |
