coast of Maine | The nights are much longer as we head towards the shorter daylight times of year. This cause s way more disease issues in vine crop as leaf wetness can be better than 60 % of the 24 hour day.Especially up here at near the 45th parallel.Copper once a week will help some.We just stopped cuke /zuke harvest here due to freeze off but having vines alive mid october here was only able by copper apps. This is primarily due to bacti on wet leaves/fruit not so much fungal as cold. | |
