Southwestern Minnesota | Did you ask the cardiologist why he thought you should change? You're on a newer generation statin, with less side effects and a more potent med that can be given in a smaller dose. Your family doctor is satisfied with your lab results; is the cardiologist satisfied with the results too? Are there other labs that he/she isn't satisfied with? Are there issues with the formulary? I'd dig deeper into the "why" he thinks you should change. | |
