I threw out a national yield of 174 a few days ago.

Been in enough corn I am fairly confident my yields will be off 30-50 bpa from a year ago.

I need to hear large areas are 30-50 above a year ago to think we will match 179.

I think the corn acres numbers might actually be low, but don’t think usda will change that number.

Late July I figured my yields would have matched last year. Rust and rain changed that.

We are exporting the crap out of corn right now, and local ethanol plants are improving basis and contacting me 2-3 times a day that there are little to no wait times.

I think we eventually get national yield below 179 just have to determine/guess how far below.

Would think wheat would follow corn up….
