coast of Maine | In my opinion with not actually being there it is downy mildew.Im sure it is near endemic in Arkansas,here it come in late season on winds /air from the south.You usually can tell if it was quite sudden and what you see after its bad is just squash leaf stalks.Once in its technically done in.You could run out and grab some really pricey cucurbit fungicides but Im thinking let it be.OR bad air,yes bad air from ozone pollution will make the same affect.Had several days of air quality warnings in past and it shows on cucurbits.Many treat as if downy mildew not knowing.I had 24D injury before on squash,the stem will not be erect like in a downy or bad air hit,,, | |
