IA/MN/WI | Everything was spot on, until you listed some of the worse companies in the industry.
Conklin, the overpriced MLM of ag, the owner is so ridiculous even his son who has a phd and owns a plant and soil testing lab is estranged from him, they provide zero public data for their programs, and EVERYTHING is behind a pay wall. The guy literally charges $9 for you to sit on a webinar and listen to him and a couple of his dealers talk for an hour about how they grow the best corn on planet earth, yet they provide zero data.
Sound Ag, has lost 50% of their "agronomy" staff in the last year and laid off a handful of others, they have zero commercial data, no label transparency, all "proprietary".
BW Fusion, bought by venture capital, product quality is total garbage now, in a lawsuit for their biologicals being dead when delivered, had a water quality contamination at their production facility last year and still sent out all that product to their dealers, all their "data" last year came from 2 territory managers on 4 fields. I've literally bought 2 totes of 10% Boron from them and one was brown and one was blue....
Really surprised you wouldn't have listed regional family owned companies that actually have local data. Brandt, Streamline Ag, Redox Bio, Max Systems, DPH. Heck even AgroTech has more data than any of the companies you listed... | |
