Subject: RE: Ever try Dark Brown sugar on toast?

Western Oregon
We buy a little organic, unrefined dark brown sugar. I like it when I cook apple slices for my pancakes along with cinnamon.. I still like a tsp of granulated white sugar on my rice and raisins a couple times a month. Just something about that flavor and the undissolved sugar sitting on the top of the rice, milk first, no stirring. We buy 1 lb at a time and put it in a small container on the spice shelf above the stove, lasts a couple years....James
