Subject: Squash plants damage

East Central Arkansas
No we haven't had frost here. Plants were pretty last week and bearing heavy. I am leaning towards herbicide drift. Something they must be extremely sensitive to. A couple days last week the smell of 2,4 D was heavy in the air. Some local large yards were treated about a 1/4 mile away by a lawn care service last week. I do realize drift could have come from ag fields close by but they have been harvested and haven't noticed anything but tillage and some fertilizer spread close by.
Mainly just a reminder. Just because most crops are done doesn't mean your neighbor doesn't have things you could damage when spraying.
