Bottom of the Mitten | Canola has been an unheard of crop here until the last couple years but now you occasionally see some fields of it. With the bean situation it has me wondering. A place within reasonable driving distance takes it. It appears the price is sub $10 and a google search (don't know how accurate) says 30-60 bushels is normal. What are weed control methods? Seed cost? Who sells seed? Is the seed patented? Disease and pest issues? Fertility requirements? I hear very little on this website mentioned about it but someone must be planting it. Anybody love it or hate it? | |
