Prices are too good to put a quarter in our own freezer and too expensive to buy a roast or a couple steaks in the store.
Maybe my thinking is backwards but I’ve never understood this mentality especially with those that raise livestock… especially from a food security standpoint at a minimum.
I highly doubt your gonna miss one steer out of the budget.. even if you took half selling the other half pays for quite a bit. |
