Northeastern Pa. | I planted Channel 197-97 and it sure looked healthier than my Seedway 0030 and my FS 5101 all year. We have a gray leaf spot problem along the river and it resisted it better than anything I've ever planted including DeKalb. I have not harvested it yet because it's around 20-22% but so are the other 2. Looks as good but will report back with the facts. The dealer gave me a bag of 87 day, and I put in a 2-acre field which is heavy with gravel and I sure was impressed with it. An 87 day on gravel in a drought year usually isn't worth running a combine through it. | |
