| For the record, beef prices (up until the past several years) represented the loss of millions (probably billions) of dollars of equity in cattle country. Today's prices reflect that reality. Three dollar ground beef represented 50 cents weigh cows that waited for hours to be unloaded because of the lines at auction markets to SELL THE FACTORY. Send a Christmas card to China because you are funding them with every fork full of Smithfield pork (assuming you can choke that tasteless crap down). | |
