| The relatively thinly traded feeder cattle futures market can and does take wild swings with today's expanded limits, especially with record prices and with any news or rumors . Does Trump know or understand that? It's doubtful. The auction markets didn't seem to give a flying F. Importing junk beef may affect the weigh cow market, but it didn't make any more feeder cattle. If you haven't yet figured out how tiny a part of the population cattle producers have become, this should give you an indication. | |
