I don`t understand how you can put a significant amount of weight on a cull cow in winter to make that pay. I know that preg checking cows will be a good decision that will pay off but I just need to break that down to show to the rest of the family. It is not something we have done in the past, mainly due to the labor and our chute setup.
It’s possible. We do it every year. You just need to know how to feed them. A cow will eat you out of house and home if you let her. |
