I don`t understand how you can put a significant amount of weight on a cull cow in winter to make that pay. I know that preg checking cows will be a good decision that will pay off but I just need to break that down to show to the rest of the family. It is not something we have done in the past, mainly due to the labor and our chute setup. maybe not in your climate but an open cow not milking can gain a lot of weight fast. Just gotta lay the groceries to her. |
