Reliable testimony from a “ warranty writer” at an auto dealership. This man quit because the dealership demanded that he charge-back to General Motors for items not under warranty. He refused to do so. Management started to press on him. Rather than knuckle under to their demands, he quit. By what he told me, I will NEVER buy a car there-or have one serviced. The corruption in the business world is disturbing.
What some people dont realize is , after 50k in tools you are making 30 $ an hour .
Give a tech a warranty job where time is cut in half , hes now working for 15 $ .
Its probally one of the worst jobs . Not somthing id tell anyone to go into . |
