| I watched about the first 10 minutes..... in the first 10 minutes, he talked about dealerships where the mechanic is sitting around in a lawn chair with no work, waiting until a car comes in to work on. IF this is true, why does it take so long to get a vehicle worked on? IF there are mechanics sitting around waiting for work, a customer should be able to call up a dealership and say "I need this done on my vehicle", and the service manager should say "Bring it in today. We'll get it done." Frankly, I don't see that happen.... Generally, when I call a dealership up to get work done on my vehicle, I can expect that the job will be planned 1, 2 or even 3 weeks into the future. Which makes me question how valid this guy's perspective is. |
