East Central Nebraska | I'm guessing about everything of mine is falling over and some got fungicide. Looking back should have done more, but walking thru fields, some had it bad and some didn't and I was pretty far along when it hit to where I don't think it affected yield much. Just knew stalk quality would be bad and it is. I had a 108 Day golden harvest older number that was bad. Got that picked already and probably looked the worst from the road. My old man had a newer version of 108 day Golden harvest that was perfect. Got that out already. He didn't spray fungicide and really had very little tar spot and southern rust. I'm finished beans a couple days ago and will see the rest of my corn over the next couple weeks. We did take a little out to get cows into some stalks. So no answer to your question as I didn't plant that number. But definitely seen a difference between two 108 day golden harvest numbers and I don't know the exact number of those. First year planting it. Have a 111 day GH number next to Pioneer. A month ago, I think the GH was better but we will see. | |
