Ludington/Manistee MI area | t rock - 10/18/2025 10:08 Interesting, When I go to Costco I talk to the meat guy, when I go out to dinner, I talk to the wait staff... always asking about demand. The Steak places say sales are good, Costco said beef dollar sale are steady to up, but number of pounds sold were down a little.
I struggle with what you are saying about demand. I have a small beef herd only beef we are eating is burger. Prices are too good to put a quarter in our own freezer and too expensive to buy a roast or a couple steaks in the store. I’m sure plenty of other folks with less buying power are doing the same.
