The market won't reward an individual for growing less.
I wont disagree.. It just goes to show how farming is bad business. When pricing is poor what do guys end up doing....produce more product to try to make the same or less revenue.. which in turn causes demand destruction....and creates a race to the bottom... So in contrast corporate America when prices start to soften they do a cut back in production to try to keep inventory levels lower, and keeping prices up. Its too many individuals that think they will be the exception to the laws of business and marketing that have gotten us to where we are. I myself am just as guilty, as I have not found a diverse revenue source to put corn and beans in the rear view just yet. |
Where are the guys saying don't waste more money on this crop?
