| Our 93 gleaner R 42 doesn’t do a very good job in corn. Corn is going through the rotor then on the spreader then on the ground. Does anyone have a solution to this. We have tried all sieve adjustments. We usually run fan speed at 5 and have tried less only to have tailings plug up. We think the main problem is rotor speed .Recomended 350 rpm sometimes cracks corn but has not helped. Have heard run rotor as slow as possible which is what we usually have done. We have run at 200 or 210 seems to be the best but still too much corn on the ground.we have take every other bar out of concave which was recommended by our local dealer and rotor and concave bars replaced new in2019. Still corn loss kinda bad. Any ideas ? | |
