North Central Illinois | They did a repair on one running through a field I farm in 2016. The work was done in summer and destroyed standing crop. They paid full compensation (my estimated bushels times price) on acres impacted. Then added 75% of that number for second year and 50% for third year.
I'd start there. Since the crop is already out be willing to negotiate a little. Maybe 75%, 50%, and 25%.
FWIW I can still tell where the work was done 8 years later. | |
