n. Illinois | Blaming the banker is the old trop where you have to blame someone when there is no one to blame.
Most of the mistakes made in history have been made by so called smart people making stupid decisions
We have all seen it done in your own area of expertise all of the time.
Just look at the news this past week about some Regional banks (Zions, Western Alliance, and Jefferies) finally fessing up to the stupid loans they have made to First Brands (auto parts) and Tricolor (Subprime car loans to illegal immigrants what on earth could go wrong there) and the fact that these large deals were participated out to other lenders who all failed to do any due diligence.
If your lucky enough you get to rewrite history to put the blame on someone or something else Sort of like the Federal Reserve does after they screw up the monetary system in this country. | |
