Yield monitor GPS is valuable for spatial information, grain cart scales for knowing what actually goes out the driveway.

+1

Every bushel of grain we harvest gets weighed on the cart and recorded even if it’s going straight to town.    The loads that go straight to town allow us to check our cart scale vs the elevator scale.

The yield map is used for making management decisions, such as how/where to allocate inputs in each field, and can be adjusted post harvest if needed.
