| I would recommend seeing a pulmonary doctor.
What was this diagnosis based on ? Xray ? Pulmonary function test, was an arterial blood gas done ?. Sa02 level ?
Short of breath could be several...perhaps cardiac..if so, 12 lead ekg...stress test or perfusion study or some blood test.
I know we are going towards more PA/NP due to dr shortages and faster to become a PA/NP....
Consider...if your transmission is having issues that need to be repaired...do you go to a tire shop ?
Kind of grabs me...if said practioner gives you a med...doesn't know it's cost..just gives it because it's a sample...then says will research...why didn't you give us what was needed in the first place ???
