Southern MN | Was told by a good friend in the grain biz the same thing. Corn basis tightened significantly the past few days and the soybean plant in Decatur was offering free storage and better basis also. Our local e plant is the fullest they have ever been, will only take the corn they can grind, obviously haven’t moved basis for the better. Not sure where some of the corn locally is going to go to get under roof, we filled bins not used in years and overheads in order to finish. | |
