Seems as though everyone is interested in the monitor, except for me, the farmer himself. Seed guy, landlords, family members, employees, etc. Everyone wants to know what the monitor is showing, and I am at the point I couldn’t care less. I’m just trying to keep everything running enough to get the crop from the stalk to the bin. ?

We have 2 combines with yield monitors. Ones never been powered up since we bought the combine used the other has been but it’s not accurate so betting it’s been 5 years since power up. Every field goes across a truck scale. My eyes tell me where I need tile I’d rather invest money in that than colorful splats. For fertility we get sample and apply variable rate. |
