I’ve always thought Yield monitors with mapping should have been given to every “progressive” farmer in the Midwest by the National association of tile installers and salesman. Yield monitors maps have given me the confidence to increase tile on rented farms even without long term leases.

I also commonly use my to monitor moisture and bushel totals when filling bins or running the dryer.
Confidence is ok but sure hope its the landlords ck book.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

No guys no glory.
Not talking whole farm pattern jobs. Just patch work on the worst spots. Those are the biggest ROI runs.

Similar but different situation here. Irrigation shows huge yield increases in my area. 120-140 bu corn yields dry to 200-250 and up irrigated. Cut plenty of dryland beans and when you bump over into irrigated acres the yields double. A landowner sees this and knows if they increase their irrigated acres their income goes up. Going from 30-40 bushel beans into 80-90 it’s real easy to see what caused it.
