I had this conversation with a few folks at church the other day. They hadn’t noticed beef being all that expensive. And if the American consumer would find it to expensive, why not mix up the meat you eat? Iv got lamb I can’t sell. I haven’t sold a single half or full to anyone this year and only sold 2 last year. Used to sell 20+. I can’t seam to give it a way. Fats only brought a 1.6$ this spring. Not looking like they will do much better this fall. Something is very broken with this market.
We were kind of hoping the crazy cattle prices would kind of drive up some demand for lamb and hopefully pork or the chicken guys, but it doesn’t seem to be that way.
