| "I have a friend wandering"
A perfect flat, black 80 is selling adjacent to land owned by the family. 1/8 mile from the "friend's" headquarters. "Friend's" dad owns 1k acres free and clear around the land selling. Obviously, the dad is going to the auction strong.
Lookers, nosies and other potential buyers are driving out to the land daily. Some are stopping in to the "friend's" house and asking detailed questions since he has farmed it for many years.
1) Answer questions politely and honestly?
2) Don't open the door?
3) Give bogus answers and have fun with it?
4) Tell them "Dad is going to buy it"?
5) Ask them if they need adjoining acreage and bins to make their purchase feasible?
Any other suggestions? "Friend" has three more weeks until auction.
