jd8850 - 10/16/2025 08:54 We've had every model change corn head Deere made from 1243 till current so I'm well aware of the changes. I should have known though the only reason Deere is even still making corn heads is because of Calmers. We all know the only reason Deere is still in business is from copying others and conning others to pay a premium for their overpriced stuff and holding farmers hostage. Just add Calmers to the list that Deere has copied, after the IH 1460. Oh yes, and IH guidance also.

Pull your head out of Mother Deere’s butt, take deep breathe, unbunch your JD panties then share all of the major performance improvements from the 90 series to the 600 series and where JD got the idea from.

I’ll be seriously impressed if you can name all of the major changes.  Including arguably the biggest one which can’t be seen without the head running.

we run a couple deere heads, seems the c seris is much better then the 6 seris john deere head, ran a 1063ih that was always taking parts, best head years back was old 444 or 643 cornhead that made field look like it had not been picked-best for no till beans
