Southeast Colorado | Major bands at sold out concerts are probably over rated. When I was young thought it was cool.
Nowadays we occasionally catch a cheaper old school version............and they are mostly REALLY GOOD.
We just saw Ricochet play up in Montana when we were there visiting my son. The lead singer and band was exceptionally talented. They also lined up and signed autographs and let you visit with them afterwards. They were humble.........and it was pretty cool.
A couple of months ago the wife and I went and saw Rick Springfield and a few warm up bands. All of them were actually pretty amazing in the smaller arena where we were at. All of the singers were 70+ years old........and still have got it. Probably the most impressive was John Mayer. He's most famous for his softer stuff.........but that old man can rock!
Anyway..........lots of marketing going on in any live concert. But keep your wits about you and you can have a great time! | |
